I've based the majority of the listings in this FAQ file on postings to rec.music.newage. In no way is this a de-facto compilation of all the internet sources on contemporary/new age music information (nor was it ever intended to be). However, if it has wetted your appetite for good music, then I'd highly recommend the following for more links and information.
Fred Puhan's "Music for a New Age" pages http://www.his.com/~fjp/music.html Chad Gould's "Soundwave" site (which includes a search engine) http://tilt.largo.fl.us/links/newage.html
NEW AGE DISCOGRAPHIES
Piero Scaruffi (scaruffi@hpp.stanford.edu) has compiled a file with the complete discographies of about 500 new age and electronic music artists that heCs glad to share. For each artist the discography lists all of her/his recordings (under her/his name) with the date of release and a personal rating from *(poor) to ***** (excellent). ItCs a useful start for people who want new age suggestions and can be found at

Lazlo (lazlo@swcp.com) has written and installed a new package called Lazlo's Discography Machine, which anyone interested in accessing his wide range of discographies (including some new age artists) should use from now on. The main entry point is at
