{"id":168,"date":"2016-02-03T16:10:08","date_gmt":"2016-02-03T21:10:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mfna.org\/rfo\/?p=168"},"modified":"2016-02-03T16:13:06","modified_gmt":"2016-02-03T21:13:06","slug":"not-tacticool-part-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mfna.org\/rfo\/2016\/02\/03\/not-tacticool-part-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Not &#8220;Tacticool,&#8221; Part 2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I titled yesterday&#8217;s post &#8220;Not Tacticool&#8221; and then didn&#8217;t explain why.\u00a0 Here&#8217;s why:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Tactical&#8221; is word that appears on just about every web site and in every magazine dedicated to the shooting sport.\u00a0 Tactical gear is recognized by the plethora of pockets, zippers, tabs, loops, buckles, snaps, compartments, and the like.\u00a0 Take for example, the 5.11 Stryke Pants. <a href=\"http:\/\/mfna.org\/rfo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/1-650-511-stryke-pants-khaki1.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-169\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-169 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/mfna.org\/rfo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/1-650-511-stryke-pants-khaki1-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"5.11 Stryke Pants\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mfna.org\/rfo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/1-650-511-stryke-pants-khaki1-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/mfna.org\/rfo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/1-650-511-stryke-pants-khaki1-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/mfna.org\/rfo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/1-650-511-stryke-pants-khaki1.jpg 650w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Whatever one&#8217;s opinion of the fashion statement, there is no mistaking these pants for upscale, casual khakis.
